Happy Square Root Day!

March 3, 2009 is square root day.

CNET points out:

Tuesday is Square Root Day, a rare holiday that occurs when the day and the month are both the square root of the last two digits of the current year. Numerically, March 3, 2009, can be expressed as 3/3/09, or mathematically as √9 = 3, or 3² = 3 × 3 = 9.

I guess the others would be 1/1/01, 2/2/04, 4/4/16, 5/5/25, 6/6/36, 7/7/49, 8/8/64 and 9/9/81. If we allow a third digit we could have 10/10/2100, 11/11/2121 and 12/12/2144, but those would only occur once a millennium.

So does March lead in mathematically relevant days (with square root and pi)? How about right triangle days (3/4/05, 5/12/13)? e day (2/7 or 2/7/18 for more digits)? Prime days (2/3/05, 2/5/07 ... OK, I guess there are lots of those). Perfect day (1/6/24)? Fibonacci days (1/1/02, 1/2/03, 2/3/05, 3/5/08, 5/8/13, 8/13/21)?
